These are so beautiful but very busy looking. I found the only type of pen I can use is a medium point black gel pen. I use a regular black Sharpie, too. Black seems like the only color that will stand out from the mix of colors. The trick is to use a wider point pen than you normally use. Then you can read what you wrote.
